About Storm Mackay
Strength, Loyalty, Success.
In January, 2018, a small group of passionate netballers joined forces and formed Storm Netball Club Mackay Inc. With Head Coach, Dave Benson, secured, we planned on only entering a Premier League team. Word, however, quickly got around and an additional two Storm senior teams entered the Mackay Netball Association competition.

Since our inception, we have continued to grow from strength to strength. Our inaugural premiership-winning Premier League team, and Grand Finalist Division 6 team, gained attention from many within our community. As a result, we grew to ten teams in 2019, including the introduction of six junior teams. Fast forward to 2022 and we have over 180 members, with 19 teams taking the courts in our pink and navy uniforms, including Premier League, seven senior, and eleven junior teams.
Throughout this time, we have built a foundation that encourages our players, coaches, umpires and volunteers to be the best they can be. As we continue to value strength of character, loyalty to teammates, and success on and off the court, we feel confident that everyone in our club will feel that they are valued members of our Storm family
